Day 28 - What If They Reject Me?
As followers of Christ, we are inspired by Jesus' selflessness and humility, willingly enduring the cross for our sake (Philippians 2:5-8). In the face of rejection and opposition, we are called to find joy, knowing that if Jesus endured the cross with joy for us, we can endure rejection for His sake. As Jesus promised, those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake are blessed (Matthew 5:10-12).
“Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” - Hebrews 12:2
Just as the early apostles rejoiced in suffering for Christ's name (Acts 5:41), we can find joy in sharing the Gospel, regardless of the response we receive. Our joy is rooted in our love for Jesus and our desire to reflect His heart to the world. In a world hungry for hope, our joy in proclaiming the Gospel can be a shining light, drawing hearts closer to Him, even amid rejection and adversity. Let us embrace rejection with joy,
knowing that we are obediently fulfilling our calling as ambassadors of Christ's love and truth.
To navigate questions and challenges effectively, we must be confident in the Gospel message. Continuously studying and deepening our knowledge of Scripture equips us to address common apologetics topics. When we understand the foundations of our faith, we can respond with clarity and conviction, grounded in the truth of God's Word.
In conversations about the Christian faith, certain topics are often raised. Common apologetics topics include:
1. The existence of God and the problem of evil
2. The reliability of the Bible
3. The uniqueness of Jesus and His claims

When faced with rejection, stand firm in Jesus' example, shining His light in a dark world. Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit, understanding the external and internal aspects of each person we encounter. Equip yourself with knowledge, confidently addressing common apologetics topics. As we share the Gospel with others, let our actions and words reflect the love and truth of Jesus Christ, leaving the results in God's faithful hands.
